My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I really wish I could do half stars. 3.5. I liked Dixon, but his manwhorish ways could get annoying. I kinda figured out the surprise element.
I really did think this was hot a read. I loved the friends. Hunter, Finch for Dix and Mary (Lamb) for Madison. After a while, the back and forth became a bit tedious. But the way it ended, of course, I had to start the second one!
The writing is well done. The plotting is fine. I just found it a bit draggy.
