ReedPOP, the world's largest producer of pop culture events and the creators of BookCon, today announced that New York Times bestselling author of Landline and Eleanor and Park, Rainbow Rowell will be appearing at this year's second annual BookCon on May 30 for a conversation discussing her forthcoming book, CARRY ON. Available this October, CARRY ON is an epic fantasy following the triumphs and heartaches of Simon and Baz from Rowell's beloved bestseller Fangirl.
Coming on the heels of the recent announcement that notable YA authors Tavi Gevinson, Sophia Rossi, Gayle Forman, Sarah Dessen, Marie Lu and Richelle Mead will be at BookCon, Rowell's addition brings another superstar name to the lineup, giving the YA genre a huge presence at this year’s event.
