This is going to be a short post because I am completely wiped out. I have the worlds largest blister on my left foot that is so disgusting that I can't even show you the picture of it because it will disgust you! But enough about that! I had a wonderful time at BEA, I really took my time walking the floor and just browsing around meeting up with publishers and bloggers and writers. You know, the wealth of authors that I saw, met and creeped around is still mind blowing. I
can tell you that I never even got a glimpse of Chris Colfer or Tim Gunn because their signings were literally right across from each other and the lines were massive. I think I ran in the other direction. But I did get a copy of Chris' book (unsigned) so I'm cool with that.
Here is a little tease of what I have:

Small section of books. I purchased A Temptation of Angels and Stacy Kramer's book.

Monday night was the HarperCollins Celebration of Bloggers. It was a fun time to meet up with people I haven't seen in a year. And finally meet some of the Harper publicists who are so good to me. It was amazing to finally put a face to a name!
Tuesday was the Teen Author Carnival and there was so much going on with all the panels! 6 panels on three floors! (2 per floor). Devyn was one of my roommates so we ended up going to this amazing pub called the Slaughtered Lamb with Courtney Allison Moulton, Gretchen McNeil, Karsten Knight, Tiffany Schmidt, AC Gaugen, Zoraida Cordova, Scott Tracey, Gail Yates, Jeffrey and Jeremy West. Why do I think I'm missing someone? Now this pub? Werewolf/Zombie themed. I wish my phone hadn't died on me so I could've taken pictures of the place, it was unreal.
I'm going to keep this short right now because I can't stop yawning. Tomorrow or Sunday, I'll post about the bloggers I met that actually had heard of this blog! It was kind of bizarre, but cool too! (because no one reads this!;)
We got a lot of the same books. Hope up you enjoy. Was fun seeing you again and chatting. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun seeing you too, Rebecca! I can't believe how many books I have. I thought I was being good!
