Bumped ended with Harmony pregnant by Jondoe, but living in Goodside with her husband (who we find out has a big secret). Melody not bumping with Jondoe, but falling for her best friend. This book opens with Melody faking a pregnancy, so that the twins will have babies together. Except that it doesn't work. Melody is trying to ruin the whole idea of teens having sex to give their babies away. Too many people were invested in this scheme and it didn't play out how it should've.
Harmony (now 8.5 months pregnant) finally leaves Goodside, goes to Melody, catches up with Jondoe, who is in love with her and pines for her in very public ways. Melody is annoyed. Harmony cuts and colors her hair. Goes into labor.
Melody is jealous of Ram's attraction to another girl. Sometime's I just found this book to be a hot mess at times. It's not terribly unreadable, but it lost something that the first book had. I just can't put my finger on it.
