I was thinking, so I said, "Self, what have you to be thankful for?" So I thought and thought and thought and thought. So without the obligatory thankful for family, health, home, heat, food, etc... I said, "Self, I'm so thankful that I have a blog and I can read books all the time." Now, I know that might be a selfish thanks, but being able to be transported to different worlds, fall in love with amazing sexy guys (or girls), just forgetting who you are for a brief moment is really something to be thankful for.
I'm also thankful that I have choices in every aspect of my life. I can choose to go on vacation. I can choose to not read a book. I can choose to blog about something that is near and dear to me. I can celebrate that Michelle Bachman dropped out of the GOP race. I can be amazed that Mitt Romney (my fmr Gov.) only one by 8 votes!
I'm also thankful that I have readers and people who enjoy what I do. I know I might have slipped up in the past, blogging is hard work and can be quite expensive! Mailing out a ton of books is exhausting and depletes the wallet. But I'm thankful that I'm still able to do that. Thankful that Hubby helps me out a lot too!
In 2012, I'm going to be more thankful for the people around me and those of you who comment on the blog. I hope to hosting some fantastic contests, so please stay tuned in 2012 and see what I have in store!
