THAT BOOK! UP ABOVE!
Honestly, the picture does not convey the awesomeness that is the cover. But it's what's between the pages that is magical at best. Marissa Meyer has written a wondrous book that will be the favorite of many lists and will be flying off the shelves when it comes out in January. (I know it seem like a long time, but seriously it's not!)
I guess you could call this a fractured fairytale, but with a very modern and dystopian twist. Everything about this book, the plot, the tone, the theme just worked. It was magical! I will be thinking of this book and counting down the days for the sequel (btw, it's a quartet!), so don't mind me if I squee over this. I will be posting my review closer to pub date, but just so you know it's definitely five parasols!
