Scholastic Book Fair Part Deux!

So last night was Family night at the Elementary School for the Scholastic Book Fair.  They really are so much fun because Lily who is reading up a storm, just wanted to buy every book there!  But what she really wanted was a Justin Bieber Quiz Book that she was jonesing for.  I mean, the fair started at 5.30 and we got there at 5.29.  She was getting that book if it killed everyone around her!  She was on a mission!

I had fun looking around at what they had on display and I even managed to get Lily to look at books that she normally wouldn't have.  I'm kinda good that way! :)  So I bet you're dying to know what she got, right?

Well she got the Biebs quiz book.  But she also picked up the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid! She started reading that immediately and is in love with it. She also got some Poison Apple books (Now you see me..., Midnight Howl) and a Kitty Corner book.  She totally into chapter books lately and I'm so proud of her reading success.  A year ago she was still in that learning stage of reading so I read to her often, but now she goes into her bedroom and reads on her own.  My little baby is growing up:(

So a good selection of books.  I'm extremely proud of her!
