Why not Excuses?
I could possibly come up with a ton of excuses as to why I want to quit blogging. I'm tired, it's too much work, I'm not doing it correctly. I need more readers, blah blah blah...:)
I suck at interviewing. I never know what to ask people that isn't going to make them fall asleep at their computer! If you look back at my interview with Jeannine Garsee, she must've thought I was nuts for the boring questions I asked. And we talk quite regularly!
If you could interview an author, dead or alive, what would you ask? and which author would you ask? Perhaps we could take the best questions and use them to ask several authors for an interview that is by the readers?
What do you think?

I have no idea for what would I ask - I'm terrible at thinking up questions but I definately would interview Jane Austen.

ReplyDeleteI like asking questions here are some of my favorite.
ReplyDelete1) When you write a character do you have specific people in mind that you pull characteristics from or is the character born in your mind?
2) If you could choose one of your characters to go on a roadtrip with who would it be? Would you let them drive and better yet would you let them control the music?
3) What word would you use to describe your writing process?
4) Describe the first moment that you realized -"Hey I am a writer?"
5) Describe your writing process? Seat of the pants, Plotter or wing it as you go.
6) How do you decide on the ending of a book in a series? Do you leave a huge cliffhanger? Do you give your readers some closure or is it just plain torture for them? (Needs to be writing a series.)
As you can see I have loads of questions I just don't know loads of authors to interview. If I could interview any author - I would love to interview Nalini Singh.
I'd like to know which book they wish they had written?
ReplyDeleteWhich author dead or alive would they want to sit and have dinner with?
:D
