Leesie (Aleesa) is 17 year old in Takoa, Washington. She's Mormon and sticks to all her Mormon rules. While on a diving trip in Belize, a freak hurricane capsizes the yacht he was on, killing his parents and everyone else on board. Michael is the sole survivor. After the accident, he goes to live with his gram in Tekoa, WA. He complains and calls it Teacup. All Michael wants to do is dive. He does not want to be in the remotest part of Washington State. He wants to love Leesie the only way he knows how -- with his body. Told in poems, IM Chats and Dive Records, Leesie finds herself questioning her faith, herself and her absolute love for Michael.
